This cosmetic is essential not only in summer. And it is not necessary to buy it: deodorant can be made at home. What ingredients to use and how to combine them so that the home deodorant effectively masks the smell of sweat?
Although buying deodorant is not a problem, more and more people prefer to do it at home. Homemade deodorant is an alternative for allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin of the armpits, as well as supporters of natural cosmetics.
It is cheap, easy to prepare, does not contain chemical compounds that can irritate the skin, and its composition is precisely known, unlike store deodorants, the composition of which INCI is mentioned on the packaging is sometimes difficult to decipher.
It also has disadvantages: it does not contain preservatives, so it spoils quickly. It often takes a few, and sometimes a dozen or so attempts to choose the right ingredients that neutralize the unpleasant smell of sweat.
How to make a cream deodorant?
Homemade cream deodorant is one of the easiest to prepare homemade cosmetics.
Ingredients:
Put the ingredients into a jar or metal container, mix thoroughly, and then heat up to combine into a solid mass - this can be done, for example, by heating in a water bath. If the mass is too thin, you can add more starch.
Soda and hydrogen peroxide deodorant
This deodorant is made immediately before use and can be prepared with or without a fragrance.
Ingredients:
The ingredients are simply mixed and then rubbed into the skin of the armpits.
Homemade spray deodorant
It is also very easy to prepare. You can make a homemade spray deodorant according to several different recipes - below are the two easiest ones. To make it, you need a bottle or an atomizer (you can buy it at most drugstores).
Ingredients:
All you need to do is mix the ingredients and pour them into an atomizer bottle.
Ingredients:
Put magnesium chloride into a jar, pour water over it and stir until it dissolves. Add distilled water or hydrolate to the cooled mixture, add essential oil (its amount should depend on the intensity of the aroma you want to get) and pour it into a bottle with an atomizer.

Homemade natural deodorant powder
You only need two minutes to do it. You can make it just before use or prepare a larger supply and store in a tightly closed container.
All you need to do is mix the ingredients and apply them to the skin of the armpits as needed.
Homemade natural lemon and rosemary deodorant
It works well for people who sweat a lot, because one of its ingredients - rosemary - has pore-tightening properties, the other - that is lemon, and specifically the juice squeezed from it is famous for its disinfecting and refreshing properties.
Ingredients:
Boil the water, put the rosemary leaves in it, then cover it and let it brew (it usually takes about a quarter of an hour). When the infusion has cooled down, pass it through a fine-mesh strainer, add lemon juice, alcohol and - if the smell is not to your liking - a few drops of essential oil (for example, witch hazel oil is suitable for this mixture). Pour into an atomizer bottle or jar.
