How to care for a Young Complexion

Caring for young skin is very important, because the sooner you start caring for your face, the better. You must start proper skin care after the age of twenty. Protect and moisturize the skin to enjoy a radiant, wrinkle-free complexion for a long time. Learn the rules of young skin care!

Care for young skin does not require the use of strong cosmetics, which does not mean that you can treat it carelessly. First of all, you need to thoroughly clean, moisturize and protect your skin against UV radiation.

Moisturizing

Remember that systematically hydrated skin begins to age much later. The sun, on the other hand, speeds up the process, so make sure that the day cream, even on a cloudy day, contains an SPF 15 filter (higher in summer).

Use a mild liquid or foam to wash your face, which leaves a film that retains moisture in the deeper layers of the skin. Then apply a moisturizing cream with hyaluronic acid or algae extract, spread it on your face and neck, lightly patting with your fingertips.

When you have acne, use preparations for acne-prone skin - for washing, for example, syndets (so-called soap without soap) with a slightly acid or neutral reaction (pH 4.5-5.5) and creams containing anti-inflammatory and anti-seborrhoeic ingredients.

Antioxidants

The closer to thirty, the greater the skin's needs, because collagen and elastin production begin to decline. Then it is worth reaching for moisturizing creams enriched with antioxidants - they protect against free radicals that destroy collagen and elastin fibers and accelerate aging.

The most effective antioxidants are vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and polyphenols - substances obtained e.g. from grapes, green tea. Other plant extracts work similarly: oleuropeins (e.g. from olive tree leaves), flavonoids (e.g. from ginkgo biloba), gammaororanol (e.g. from wild rice).
