Snake venom is currently used in "facelift without a scalpel" procedure. Snake venom extract works similarly to botox - it reduces wrinkles, firms the skin and improves the oval of the face. Check what the snake venom treatment is and whether it is really a good alternative to Botox.
Snake venom is used in lifting and anti-aging therapies. Currently, in aesthetic medicine clinics, snake venom is used during two treatments: Snake Venom Force and Derma-Oxy, during which the venom is introduced with the use of hyperbaric oxygen.
How does snake venom work?
Under the name "snake venom" there is a tripeptide found in Temple Viper snake venom, which comes from Malaysia. The venom works like botox - it blocks muscle contractions that are responsible for the mechanical aging of the skin. As a result, it reduces wrinkles, firms the skin and improves the oval of the face. The difference between botox and snake venom is that the effects of the latter substance are visible immediately after the treatment. In the case of botox, you have to wait from 3 to 7 days for the effects. In addition, snake venom also has a strong antioxidant effect, i.e. it protects the skin against free radicals that are responsible for the aging process.
Snake venom power - what does the procedure look like?
Both treatments are very similar to each other and consist of several stages. First, a peeling is performed. Then a concentrated serum is applied to the face and neck, the ingredients of which penetrate deeply into the skin. The serum usually consists of algae, vitamins A, C and E, hyaluronic acid, shea butter, allantoin, collagen and elastin. Then, a preparation with snake venom is applied to the skin to remove wrinkles.
The Snake Venom Strength treatment is performed using a mask and eye pads containing peptides.
Duration of the procedure - approx. 90 minutes; Price: from approx. $280.
In the case of the Derma-Oxy treatment, all ingredients are pumped with oxygen into the deep layers of the skin, thanks to which the first effects are visible immediately after the treatment.
Duration of the procedure - approx. 40 minutes; Price: from approx. $200.
