Jicky is a pioneering fragrance, for the first time in history a synthetic element was used - coumarin obtained from tonka beans. This is already a strong argument to at least get to know the first modern perfumes. Another element strongly influencing the imagination is the story of Aime Guerlain's unhappy love for an English aristocrat who was the inspiration to create this work. Modern aromas cannot be expected from the aroma of 1889, but they should not be deleted as a result. Jicky is an aromatic fragrance with a clearly French touch but it is not a cold and formal fragrance. In addition to the lavender that comes to the fore, we are dealing here with bodily tones that are intriguing by their nature. Under the strong lavender pierces the delicate sweetness of vanilla, herbs and animated skin. The smell evolves very strongly, from the freshness of citruses in the opening to the bodily base, which fortunately does not enter dirty and controversial areas. A great work of perfumery that every person interested in fragrances should get to know.

I bought because it was a promotion and the price was not too high. The smell is great, but not very associated with modern perfumes, rather with aromatherapy oils. At the beginning there are citruses typical of Guerlain, but after a while the most wonderful rosemary that I smelled in my life surrounded by lavender with basil and spices. the fragrance has a calming and calming effect. I use it in the evening as a bed fragrance. He falls asleep fantastic. I think it will also be great for hot weather.

Lavender and vanilla with the addition of citrus, civet and herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary). You don't need to advertise these perfumes, it's enough to say that they have been produced continuously since 1889. In addition, about three years ago, Guerlain spent sacks of money to restore almost all of his perfumes to their condition 20/30 years ago, and, along with Mitsouko and Habit Rouge, Jicky is the greatest success of these reformations. If someone complains that "once the perfume was better quality", just show him Jicky (edp). There was no better quality, there is not and will not be.

I recommend, but not this version. It's a beautiful fragrance, but it has already been changed so that the latest version has ceased to have claw and charisma.

Fascinated by the history of Guerlain's perfumery and art, I thought I must have a perfume bottle. They are groundbreaking after all ... this is the first fragrance that did not smell like a bouquet of flowers, but was a composition that is not in nature. The first whistle on the wrist ... a sharp cologne smell hits the nose, but only for a moment. In a moment a beautiful, intense lavender appears ... the whole bush together with branches and flowers. Attached are citrus-fern notes and an animal motif that slightly repels, but not too long. The fragrance becomes very elegant but also intriguing, because it contains "dirt", such a wicked wink, - it is a leather element. Perfumes for warm seasons. Certainly for the brave who will want to check how to impress the surroundings!

The french perfume house guerlain, one of the oldest and most famous in the world, has lived with beauty and creativity for almost two hundred years. From the very beginning in 1828, the brand produces its products only in france, remaining in a special relationship with two places. Guerlain makeup and cosmetics are made in the historic city of chartres, and the perfect guerlain perfume begins in orphin. Both locations are connected not only by tradition, but also by know-how and advanced technology.

It all began in the laboratory of chemist and innovator Pierre-François P. Guerlain, who breathed life into the brand and devoted all his talent to it. He quickly gained the favor of the French nobility, and in the mid-nineteenth century his name was known in all fashion circles. Guerlain perfumes have become an icon and have enjoyed unflagging popularity for almost 200 years. The Guerlain cosmetics range also has many treasures, among which the illuminating powder in Guerlain Météorites balls is a real pearl.

Women's guerlain jicky eau de parfum is an oriental, dynamic and mysterious fragrance that creates an extremely attractive aura of attraction around you.

Head - lemon, bergamot, tangerine, rosemary
Base - leather, vanilla, amber, benzoin, spices, Brazilian rosewood, sandalwood

Feels wonderful on your face, very light, moisturizing, you don’t know you’re wearing it. Eavens out the complexion and is just fantastic for people with clear skin that just needs a bit of luminesence. 10/10

Good price for a good quality. But while opening the perfume bottle, the cap is squeaking loudly. Its the best to spray it max 2,3 times. Not more, not less
