Delina from Parfums de Marly is a fragrance that is completely beyond my perfume preferences. Far from the orient, expressive white flowers or wrapping leather chords, indeed, I run away from fruity compositions! To my surprise, this smell, not only through a powerful, expensive and refined bottle, stole my heart. A creamy heart, smooth and sweet, based on rose and peony petals, bathed in vanilla extract does not promise anything extraordinary - not true. The fragrance base - strong and intense, filled with incense and wood, gives a signal that the fragrance will be a killer - as it turns out, nonsense. Even stranger is the fact that the opening does not match the rest of the composition. How does it count? And rhubarb? This is the success. The first moments of using the oils hit the nostrils with a fruit mix, a sweet and sour cocktail, in which the rhubarb stands in front of the whole symphony and does not let go until the end. It is he who gives the uniqueness and curiosity to Delina, what's more, it makes it impossible to confuse her with any other perfumes. Later, the fragrance becomes even more girlish. It softens, acidity slowly succumbs to sweetness and powderiness, but continues to give character. The final phase is just a mention of fruit. Vanilla takes over in the company of woody chords, wrapping the carrier in a delicate veil of fragrance.

They shake up incredibly long, even after a shower. A definitely niche fragrance, probably due to this rhubarb. Slightly powdery but not heavy or overwhelming. More spring than winter.

Incredibly beautiful and unique. Perfumes are very durable and strong. You can definitely feel a rose (but this is not a bland, but rather a fresh smell), lychee and rhubarb.
