This is not my first black paste, so I have a comparison, but it is one of the better ones I've used. It does not cause irritation, gently foams (but still less than ordinary pastes) and cleanses your teeth well. We don't have to worry that the black color will stay under the gum line, nothing like that happens. It leaves a feeling of freshness after washing comparable to mint pastes, but it does not have an irritating taste and aroma. The first effects of lightening teeth can be seen after a week of use. If I had to adhere to something, it is only that after brushing my teeth we have to put more emphasis on cleaning the sink, but the effects it definitely compensates
