L'Occitane - beauty born of the charm of Provence. L'Occitane en Provence The French cosmetics brand, known mainly under the abbreviated name L'Occitane, is extremely valued. The name means "inhabitant of Occitania," or an ancient province that stretched throughout southern France from east to west. The successor of this important region, and at the same time the place where L'Occitane products come from is the magical Provence.
The history of the brand dates back to 1976, when Olivier Baussan founded a company whose goal was to commemorate and preserve the tradition of his native Provence. Equipped only with distillation equipment, a small truck and good knowledge of plants, at the age of 23 he began distilling rosemary oil and selling it at local markets.
Soon after, Olivier Baussan resumed the traditional art of soap production in Marseille, started growing lavender, and during his foreign trips, during which he searched for new ingredients and traditional methods, he discovered the extremely nutritious shea butter. He soon founded the L'Occitane factory and opened the first store in Volx in Provence.
Thanks to a flair for the interests, ingenuity and enthusiasm of the founder, L'Occitane en Provence has grown rapidly, currently has hundreds of stores around the world, and since 2010 its shares can be bought on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
L'Occitane offers a wide range of high quality cosmetic products and fragrances created in accordance with the principles of herbal medicine and aromatherapy. They are based on fragrance oils and natural ingredients. They are carefully selected in terms of their effectiveness and ability to provide the skin with everything needed to make it beautiful. L'Occitane systematically replaces artificial substances with natural ones wherever possible today.
Among the natural ingredients used in the production of L'Occitane cosmetics is, for example, a kitten, known for its healing properties and compelling smell since the Middle Ages, myrtle from Corsica, wonderful shea butter from Burkina Faso, almond fruit from breeders from Provence, moisturizing and revitalizing angelica or the aromatic symbol of Provence - lavender.
L'Occitane generously invests in research and innovation and also tries to reduce the negative impact of its production on the environment. About this cosmetic giant you could write a whole book, but the most important information is that L'Occitane is synonymous with guaranteed quality. A brand rooted in the fragrant lavender of Provence, a manufacturer of cosmetics inspired by the uniqueness and qualities of unusual ingredients from the south of France and the Mediterranean. L'Occitane products will enchant your senses, bring moments of relaxation and rest.

L'occitane amande body lotion provides the skin with the necessary hydration and velvety softness.

Feels wonderful on your face, very light, moisturizing, you don’t know you’re wearing it. Eavens out the complexion and is just fantastic for people with clear skin that just needs a bit of luminesence. 10/10

Good price for a good quality. But while opening the perfume bottle, the cap is squeaking loudly. Its the best to spray it max 2,3 times. Not more, not less

My favourite parfume. I am allergic to most parfums but this one is nice.
