I don't know how much the manufacturer assumed the effectiveness in curling, so it's difficult to say whether it works properly. On my hair (thin and slightly wavy), this element does not work, although the hair gets soft and does not frizz, but it is unlikely to curl. The product smells quite nice and is applied well to the hair.
