Application:
Preparation
Do not wash your hair before applying the cream. Apply the coloring mixture only to dry hair. Apply the vinyl protective gloves available from the SCHWARZKOPF PROFESSIONAL range of hairdressing tools.
Mixing with Activating Emulsion
Always add double the amount of ESSENSITY Activating Emulsion (with the addition of beeswax particles) to the Cream for ESSENSITY Permanent Hair.
1: 2 mixing ratio
E.g. ½ tube of Coloring Cream (30 ml) 60ml Activating Emulsion.
½ tube (30 ml) ¼ tube (15 ml) 90 ml Activating Emulsion.
Activating Emulsion
Apply an emulsion with a concentration of 2.5 percent / 8 Vol. To cover up to 100 percent of white hair and get lightening by 1-2 levels. Use an 8.5 percent / 28 Vol. Emulsion to get a Nature shade and light up to 3 levels. Use 11.5 percent / 38 Vol. In combination with lightening shades (10-) to get 3-4 levels lightening.
White Hair Cover
To cover up to 100 percent white hair apply Natural shade to level 9 in combination with ESSENSITY Activating Emulsion 5.5 percent / 18 Vol. If a shade other than natural is used, the best coverage of white hair is obtained by adding a natural shade cream to twice the amount of cream of the selected shade . For thick, color-resistant hair, apply Nature shade to get the perfect coverage of white hair. If necessary, the treatment time can be extended to 45 minutes to achieve 100 percent coverage of white hair.
Application
Natural hair
First apply the cream to the entire length of the hair up to the tips (10 - 15 minutes). (1)
Then apply the mixture at the root of the hair and leave it for 15-20 minutes. (2)
Treatment time for lightening shades (10-): up to 45 minutes.
Application to suckers
Apply the cream at the base of the hair (20 minutes). (1)
Then apply a fresh mixture to the length and the ends of the hair for another 10 minutes. (2)
Using the lightening shades (10-) apply the mixture at the root of the hair (up to 45 minutes).
For a smooth coloring process, it is not recommended to use an external heating source. (Electric heating devices accelerate the course of chemical processes and generate unnecessary energy costs.)
Rinse
After coloring, wash the cream with hair using ESSENSITY Hair Shampoo and rinse thoroughly. ESSENSITY Hair Rinse Conditioner helps protect colored hair from fading and gives it a beautiful shine and healthy look.
