Héritage (French: heritage) - was founded in 1992. And yet it was only the third chronologically masculine perfume in more than a century of Guerlain history. Jean-Paul Guerlain himself was responsible for composing them. The premiere was accompanied by quite a large promotional campaign for those times. It was also on the occasion of the debut of Héritage that the expression Guerlinade spread in the world of perfumes. It is used to define the signature for the French chord brand, which includes, among others, bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, rose, iris, tonka bean and vanilla. Most of these elements can also be found in the composition reviewed today. And although Héritage undoubtedly refers to the olfactory tradition of Guerlain, at the date of its premiere this fragrance was considered to be very modern.
