Memoir is a surprising fragrance on many levels. The first surprise is the fact that the brand famous for its heavy odors rooted in Middle Eastern aesthetics created a thoroughly European work, far from the creation with which it was associated. Another surprise is the fact of multidimensionality and depth that was presented. Memoir is an orchestra consisting of many elements. The intensely green start smoothly passes into heavier regions without losing its bitter, absinthe overtones at any moment. Wormwood and other herbs are mixed with the scent of realistically church incense and a subtle floral background. Even at the end, when the less subtle woody and resinous tones come to the fore, the perfumes do not lose their ethereal, slightly dark overtones. The durability is not as titanic as in the agar splines of this brand, but this should not be seen as a disadvantage. Heavy fixatives were avoided which kept the intended effect from beginning to end. The whole is complemented by a perfectly matching bottle topped with a typical brand cork stopper referring to the dagger handle. A thoroughly original fragrance, far from both trends in the perfumery market and the typical style of the Amouage brand. I bought this fragrance for myself and later I gave the bottle to my friend who considers it to be fully unisex. I will definitely come back to him and after finishing the bottle I will buy another one.

As if I were to describe in 3 words this fragrance .. it smells like the inside (pulp) of a fresh, cut sunflower: P but it's too simplistic. The smell is also slightly smoky, earthy and green. Sticky undergrowth with spices. The smell is unique, dense and dark. Very strong.

Good price for a good quality. But while opening the perfume bottle, the cap is squeaking loudly. Its the best to spray it max 2,3 times. Not more, not less
