It's difficult to face the legend, a work that has been recognized for decades as one of the greatest achievements in perfumery. Often, our feelings can be overshadowed by the impression of a modern smell, not understood today retro. Fortunately, with Habit Rouge you can take a shortcut and instead of facing the legend directly, you can reach for a modernized version, which is closer to today's client. The Habit Rouge Eau de Parfum version comes from 2003 and was written by the great Jean-Paul Guerlain himself. From the first notes you can guess the perfume house. In the opening to the nose comes the signature Guerlain smell of citruses, not crisp but balsamically sweet. It pierces from under them a delicate skin and another wood chord, slightly smoky vanilla, typical for this brand. You need to follow the evolution of the fragrance very carefully to pick out individual notes. The whole is a harmoniously playing symphony that envelops the body. From time to time, you can feel a rose, a carnation or other ingredients more strongly, but there is no question of towering one over the other. The fragrance maintains its above-average quality up to the later base, where there is no question of any dusty chemical fixatives. At the very end of the perfume's stay on the skin, you can feel the cocoa sweetness, which is, among others, pioneering for the then share of agar resin.
An outstanding fragrance, one of the highest perfume achievements. Ladies and gentlemen hats off!

This is the third bottle of this fragrance that I buy for my dad. He is very happy with it, perfect for older men (and not only). I think that this time it will not disappoint, because before I bought toilet water, and now I was tempted by eau de parfum, which is more intense. :) I would highly recommend.
