The Diptyque brand, which was founded in Paris in 1961, provides the market with the highest quality perfumes and scented candles. Interestingly, its founders - Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Couesland - at the beginning dealt with something completely different.
The first was an interior designer, the second he painted, and the third worked as a theater director and stage designer. They compensated for the lack of experience with their passion and achieved success. Their first Eau de Toilette, simply called "L'eau" ("water"), immediately gained huge sympathy among customers.
