With disarming honesty I must admit that Montale Honey Oud was not love at first sight, but rather a gradual 'falling in love' in this beautiful fragrance. It finally happened, Montale Honey Oud reached my deepest recesses of olfactory sensitivity, constantly revealing the new face of his artistry and beauty. Perfumes immediately after applying to the skin, hit with a substantial dose of honey and cinnamon. Honey is sweet but not sugared, in the first phase of projection it can be slightly dominated by cinnamon. It is quite strong sweetness, which then softens, subtly envelops the wearer and harmoniously works with the other fragrance notes.
The sweet character of Montale Honey Oud has the advantage that it is not bland sweetness, too thick. It seems that the whole '' culprit '' of this state of affairs is agar and amber. I do not feel the floral note, as well as the skin, unlike vanilla. Some smell of earthy due to patchouli, I haven't experienced such an effect.
The smell in evolution is quite linear, which of course is not a drawback - in the base it changes its honey-cinnamon-cardamom character. Vanilla from Madagascar is wrapped here with the power of cardamom projection, which only adds character to the composition. Both of these ingredients complement each other perfectly, giving a sense of extraordinary lightness. In turn, Ambra and oud from Laos give the perfume fragrance expressiveness and woodiness, thanks to which the fragrance does not become absolutely feminized. Perfumes belong to the group of unisex fragrances, they are so tailored that it can also be worn by both women and men. In this case, there is no clear border between male expressiveness, sharpness and uncompromising character, and subtle delicacy and feminine emotionality, covered with warmth experiences. This approach allows for universality, where both sexes will find something for themselves. Of course, if only strictly generic criteria were followed, then Montale is somewhat closer to the female form of olfactory sensitivity than to the male one. This does not mean that wearing this fragrance, we can feel like a camellia lady surrounded by a ton of sweet cookies, honey and flowers. Fortunately, this is not the case, and that's Montale's strength. Dress the guy in a fragrance that will be for him, like a sweet and colorful scarf, which at the same time does not disturb his confidence (masculinity), constituting an interesting and original addition to the original personality. Fortunately, this originality does not go beyond the borders, where the sense of good taste and taste become only an oxymoron-uf, and at this point you can breathe.
Montale Honey Oud is great to wear in winter and fall - I think that the beginning of spring will not be bad either to apply it on yourself (up to 3 dogs, more can get tired, especially the surroundings). Further. A few words should be mentioned about the parameters. Projection and durability is huge. I feel it on my skin for at least 12 hours, on clothes I can survive up to a week. Summarizing. A fragrance in which you can 'fall in love', although this love can evolve from liking (relative acceptance), to infatuation, to extraordinary, unconditional and delightful love.

Strong smell, leaving the so-called "tail". Sweet perfumes, with a predominance of honey and cinnamon, which not everyone can like. A persistent fragrance, enveloping in the intensity of sweets, unusual. Before buying a full-size bottle, I advise you to try whether we can handle this intense, sweet smell.
The smell is rather autumn-winter.

I tried this perfume because I love the coffee version, but they are too choking on me. I gave.

Sweet honey, waxy one from the apiary transforms into the aroma of amber, which gives a little incense aroma a bit later, cinnamon is called for attention. In total, sweets but not the dozen. This one has its class. I would recommend.

This is my discovery. I had a sample, now I'm waiting for a discount or a flow of cash to buy a pack. For me, a universal and wearable fragrance, but I also noticed that warm perfumes are very good for me, somehow they get along with my chemistry. Is there honey, cinnamon, can I even smell blackcurrant? Rather linear, durable.

Honey is not a frequent hero of perfumes. In fact, so quickly, only three compositions come to mind with this ingredient in the subject: Cartier - L'Envol, fragrant with honey and tuberose Cèdre by Serge Lutens and Sartorial from Penhaligon's (although in the latter we are dealing rather with a note of beeswax than honey). There is also (or maybe above all?) The hero of today's entry - Honey Aoud, a niche French brand Montale. This composition was created only in 2015, and yet it has already managed to win over a large group of lovers. Among them is also my dad, who is even the owner of his own perfume bottle. For the purposes of this review, I agreed that I would be able to use them for several days. So if you want to find out if the love for honey is taken over in my genes, I invite you to read the blog post.

I ordered a sample. The swing is very interesting, the scent notes pass from beeswax - honey to amber, then you can feel cinnamon, something very nice. Definitely unisex. For a brave woman, a warm, strong fragrance on cooler days. Cool.

Montale perfumes Montale - a perfume created for the love of magical smells and the history of the Orient. Montale, a French perfume brand, is unique because of its love of Oriental fragrances and their unusual history. Montale perfumes offer the western world a delightful, oriental perfume. In every bottle, the mysterious atmosphere of the East is combined with the passion of their creator and founder, Pierre Montale, and all the fragrances of this original brand are a wonderful mixture of happiness and an elixir of love. The brand was founded in Paris in 2003 by Pierre Montale, who for many is a mysterious perfumer who spent some time in Saudi Arabia, creating perfumes for the royal family and the upper class. After returning to Paris, he began to create original perfumes for the Western market, using experience gained in the East. Creating his fragrant creations, he always chooses natural ingredients of the highest quality in high concentrations, which ensures long-lasting perfume. As the main ingredients of his perfumes for women, men and unisex perfumes, Pierre Montale uses typically Arabic components, such as precious trees : cedar, sandalwood and oud (aka agar). The main role is played by the mentioned agar tree. The Montale brand introduced the first perfume collections to the French market dedicated to this unique, the most expensive in the world ingredient with a resinous aroma, which for centuries has been used in the production of incense and perfumes (especially the aromatic ones). The araga tree is a truly royal ingredient in the whole perfumery world, and especially in the East, where it is credited with aphrodisiac properties. It is not without reason that they are called "liquid gold" or "gods tree". The first Montale perfumes quickly gained sympathy and positive feedback not only from customers, but also specialists and critics. The range of Montale perfumes is wide (Pierre has already had about a hundred fragrances) and very comprehensive. From dark, emotionally filled cocktails, through sweet nectars and perfumes under the sign of the skin, to optimistic, bursting creations. Montale perfumes invite you to go on a journey in which a new discovery and adventure is lurking around every corner. All of them are of high quality, which is one of the reasons why they have many supporters, among others among famous personalities and celebrities. Not only Montale fragrances are original, but also their bottles. Design impresses with its simplicity and elegance, and the practicality also adds to its uniqueness. They are made of aluminum, which provides perfumes with excellent protection and high durability. In addition, this unusual material makes perfumes ideal for travel. Choose from your Montale perfume your love potion or wonderful mixture that guarantees happiness and let yourself be enchanted by the magic and history of the Orient.
Honey aoud is an oriental unisex fragrance created by the french brand montale, known for its love of oriental and arabian aromas and their unusual history. Like all montale fragrances, honey aoud perfumes, their somewhat mysterious creator, pierre montale, gave the original form, reminiscent of a magic potion. The attractively pleasant montale eau de parfum
Honey Aoud combines the aroma of honey and agar wood in an original way. One of the main ingredients of Honey Aoud is the aquilaria wood, loved by the brand's founder, also called agar wood, oud, aoud or oudh, which is a fascinating raw material with a resinous aroma. The most expensive wood in the world, which has been used for centuries for the production of incense and (especially Arabic) perfumes. This truly royal component, sometimes called "liquid gold" or "tree of the gods", appears in Montale Honey Aoud in the company of the aroma of honey, which harmoniously harmonizes with the smell of spices.
In the original composition of Montale Honey Aoud Eau de Parfum so we find chords of honey, oud wood, leather, patchouli, vanilla and amber. The honey heart, surrounded by Sumatra patchouli leaves and delicate floral notes, enlivened with Ceylon cinnamon, reinforced with precious Laos agar wood, fine ambergris and appetizing Madagascar vanilla sticks. The whole, creatively combining dominant honey and wood sides with warming root, cinnamon and sweet aspects creates an aromatic, deep and exquisite mix that is irresistible. As if using secret knowledge he acquired during his stay in Saudi Arabia, Pierre Montale created another intriguing fragrance that deserves the attention of even the most demanding perfume experts.
Like all of Pierre Montale's works, Honey Eau de Parfum Aoud consists of natural ingredients of the highest quality in high concentrations, ensuring durability of the fragrance. Montale Honey Aoud can be worn day and evening throughout the year. However, it works best on autumn and winter evenings. It will win the hearts of all lovers of original and oriental aromas who can appreciate the innovative quality.
In addition to the masterfully composed fragrances, all Montale perfumes captivate with their original packaging. From the visual side, you will be captivated by simple, pure elegance, in the case of Honey Aoud underlined by a golden-orange shade, but the choice of materials also adds exceptionality to the bottles. Pierre Montale chose aluminum, which guarantees perfect protection of perfume quality.
Montale Honey Aoud - agar wood and honey in an original vanilla-cinnamon formulation.
Feels wonderful on your face, very light, moisturizing, you don’t know you’re wearing it. Eavens out the complexion and is just fantastic for people with clear skin that just needs a bit of luminesence. 10/10
Good price for a good quality. But while opening the perfume bottle, the cap is squeaking loudly. Its the best to spray it max 2,3 times. Not more, not less
