Lacoste is a symbol of informal elegance, both in the fashion industry and in the world of perfumes. The brand was founded in 1933 by the famous tennis player rené lacoste, focusing at the beginning only on the production of sportswear. René Lacoste gave the brand not only his name, but also a well-known symbol - the green crocodile. He was inspired by the nickname "Alligator", which American tennis journalists gave when a team captain during the Davis Cup promised him a crocodile suitcase for winning a duel.
The first Lacoste perfumes were presented in 1984. Then more appeared a series of fragrances for men and women, mostly inspired by various sports.The women's and men's Lacoste perfumes have been a symbol of casual elegance for several decades, being among the most famous contemporary fashion brands.
